A basic good fiddle - $495
A great starter fiddle or step up for those
starting with very basic instruments. Nice
feel, consistent response, warm tone.
These fiddles are carved by hand in a small
shop by skilled workers, rather than
produced in a bulk manufacturing setting.
The
interior construction and overall design are
quite good. The varnish is thin, supple, and
completely laid by hand. The neck is
comfortable and fast. And
the response, tone, and dynamic range are
more than adequate for most beginning to
intermediate
players.
